Each paved area is reported with its build-up, so the quantities line up with the pavement sections on the detail sheet rather than being lumped into one number.
Bidding paving with earthwork
Paving quantities are most useful next to the sub-grade volumes from the earthwork takeoff. Ask for both together and the sub-base under the paved areas is reconciled against the grading model.
